Pharmacy Technician

This is a full time temporary four month opportunity located on the Peninsula. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year experience working as a Pharmacy Technician with strong Word, Excel, and Access experience

Responsibilities:

• Obtains source pharmaceutical information, makes detailed observations, analyzes data and interprets results, staging content for further review by supervisory personnel
• Performs additional duties for the organization as assigned by supervisory personnel
• Performs data entry tasks and verifies data entry performed by peers
• Performs clerical duties related to the department
• Tracks and prioritizes images to be taken for the database
• Report status of image data to management upon request
• Maintain accurate image information and documentation

Requirements:

• At least one year pharmacy technician experience in a health care setting
• Certified Pharmacy Technician and state license
• Strong Microsoft Office applications experience (Word, Excel and Access)
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written skills
• Able to multi task, plan, prioritize and stay organized
• Demonstrates ability to conform to work procedures; meet applicable deadlines, accuracy and productivity standards
• Ideal candidate will be articulate, attentive and takes initiative
• Effectively communicates information in writing and verbally with team members and customers
