[ITT-staff] Flex Hours

ITT Faculty,

We are required to have 12 recorded hours of "Flexible Activities" each school year along with the mandatory fall and spring semester PDA flex hours. I have fulfilled the requirement in the past with no problem by attending trainings and conferences by receiving prior approval. We no longer need to request prior approval for training or departmental activities and can use "FF: 30 Program or Discipline Discussions."

Go to your Cubby : "Instructor Flex" - select the semester you want to claim the flex time - Click the "Select Flex Verification Form" button - select "Menu of Activities" - "Select Flex Activity" pull down - go to "FF: 30 Program or Discipline Discussions."  Fill out the form.

I hope this is helpful, especially for the new faculty members.

Examples of the flex time I have recorded are training my associate faculty on the new equipment we have in the AMT lab and recertification of NC3 training.
