Subject: CTEA Mini-Grant Funds - Funds Still Available

Good Afternoon Team,

Please share with your Department Chairs, Program Coordinators, and FT/Adjunct faculty that we still have mini-grants funds available for professional development. We will not be taking applications for any conferences that take place in June, we've had too many issues with travelers not turning in their Travel Claims timely. This has impacted our closing of the books in June.

>From now until May, funds are open.

Travel out-of-state needs to be submitted 6-8 weeks prior to the conference as we are required to obtain Chancellor's Office approval before we can approval travel. States that are off-limits to approved travel are: Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, South Dakota and Texas.

Travel within the state of California needs to be submitted two (2) weeks prior to travel for internal processing and signatures.
