Thank you so much for inviting me to your department meeting! You all have a great crew over there and they asked a lot of good questions. Here are couple of answers I wanted to get back to the group.



Our Dr.'s are in on Tuesday's and Friday's.



Antibiotic ointment can only be given at our SHS facilities, but they can request the other items on the First Aid form and submit inter office mail and we will deliver them directly to you.

Sounds great. If it's too much of a hassle, I can always just give it verbally and send you all the PowerPoint that has all the info and video's and such. The PowerPoint is short, just a few slides. I do like being there to show them so that if questions or comments come up, I can address them, but again, its not a deal breaker.

Hello Tera,

My name is Elise Krawchuk and I am the PEI (Prevention and Early Intervention) Project Assistant at Student Health Services. I am writing to you in hopes that I can be invited to attend an Industrial and Trade Technology Department Staff meeting this summer or early fall in order to show faculty and staff the fantastic health services and supports that are available on campus. My goal is to give instructors easy deliverable information they can pass on to their students. I shouldn't take up more than 20 minutes of time and I have a presentation ready to go!
We at Student Health Services wish every student to be at their healthiest so that they are able to be productive and engaged classroom participants. Studies show that when a student's health, both physical and mental are supported in a healthy way, there is a greater chance for retention. Students who are taking even a .3 credit class have paid their $20 health fee and have access to great health care, assistance with signing up with Medi-Cal and CalFresh, access to reproductive health clinics and many other health related services and information. Bilingual staff is available and always confidential!
