Good Morning,
It is that time again and we need your help. We have 7,392 CTE students that HAVE NOT completed the CTE Student Survey. For Fall we currently have a total CTE Student headcount of 10,701. Only 1,064 students that have completed the survey. We'd like to get at least 50% completion on surveys.
Our CTEA funding depends on the numbers we provide to the Chancellor's Office. The less student numbers we have, the less CTEA funding we will receive for our CTE departments and the less funding we can provide to CTE programs.
We have sent to their MyCubby a message will appear in their "Personal Announcements." As shown in the screen capture below, in their MyCubby, under "Personal Announcements," note the red arrow that says "New." If this message is there, the student HAS NOT completed the survey.
Students should click on the subject line, they will be directed to the message and a link to the survey. There are several yes/no questions and the survey shouldn't take more than a minute or so respond to. We ask that you encourage your students during class time to respond to this very important survey. Some instructors, if they are in a lab classroom where computers are available are asking students to do so during class time. Other instructors have had students get their cell phones or tablets out and complete the survey while in class. Be creative!

Faculty
are able to check class rosters to see which students have not completed the survey. Under select items you wish to see on the roster, check "CTEA Survey," then display the roster. There will be a column next to the names, and if a student completed the survey, the word "complete" will show in the column. If the column is blank, then the student hasn't completed the survey.
We thank you for your continued support.
Best Regards,
Alicia
