[ITT-staff] Pilot Program: Electronic NOA System

Thank you for participating in the pilot of our new electronic NOA program. This program was created by Information Technology and Human Resources in an effort to streamline the approval process and increase our sustainability efforts by reducing the use of hard copy forms. The staff in IT and HR have tested the program and we believe that it is ready for trial by a larger and more diverse group of faculty/staff. Please note the following:


*        The program can be accessed at https://portal.santarosa.edu/hrweb/noa/NoticeOfAbsence.aspx (your standard username/password is used for login)



*        At the NOA home screen, click on the Classified/Management or Faculty/Adjunct Faculty buttons

*        To submit an NOA, enter the Total Hours Absent, Date(s) of Absence and specify the type of absence as you have done with the hard copy NOA forms. Below you are viewing a portion of the form.

*        Enter the email address of your supervisor and press submit. An email will be sent to your supervisor notifying them a NOA is waiting for their approval.

*        For sustainability efforts, HR will not be returning copies of approved NOA forms. You can view your approved NOAs on the NOA History tab and make copies if necessary.
