Why are scholarships important? University costs continue to increase, and these scholarships encourage students to join the water community.

In fact, 79% of AWWA Scholarship program recipients since 1985
have remained involved in some way in water careers.

The scholarships range from $3000 to $30,000 for undergraduate and graduate students studying finance, IT, legal, policy, communications, engineering, and water studies.
