<p class="MsoNormal">Under direction, assist the development, implementation, and evaluation of Native American Summer Bridge program at SRJC for high school students.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>DUTIES:<u></u></b></p>

</span></span></span>Work collaboratively with Counseling, teaching faculty, Student Equity Office, and other departments to provide outreach to Native Americans in high schools and communities;</p>

</span></span></span>Recruit Native American students into the Summer Bridge program;</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent:-.25in"><span style="font-family:Symbol"><span style="">·<span style="font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"">
</span></span></span>Coordinate events and activities for the Native American Summer Bridge students;</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent:-.25in"><span style="font-family:Symbol"><span style="">·<span style="font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"">
</span></span></span>Develops and maintains database systems for monitoring participant attendance, progress, and service referrals;</p>

</span></span></span>Serve as a resource person/liaison on behalf of the students served;
</p>

</span></span></span>Develop partnership with community agencies to create service learning opportunities for Native American Students;</p>

</span></span></span>Assist in supervising students;</p>

</span></span></span>Perform other duties as required by the Native American Summer Bridge program.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>ABILITY TO:</b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Work independently with minimum supervision; organize and handle a variety of projects simultaneously; track and compile statistical information; plan and present to individuals and groups; efficient in computer programs for office and
outreach; prepare and present written and verbal reports; supervise students; follow and give oral and written directions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.</p>
