<p><font color="#4ba524">The Tutorial Center, Santa Rosa campus, needs a STEM STNC Instructional Assistant</font>. </p>
<p>The position will run from Jan. 19, 2016 to potentially as late as the middle of the Spring 2016 semester.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Job description: Please see attached official job description. Specifics of this position are:</p>
<p>· Availability to work 19 hours a week daytime and/or evenings providing learning support for students in
<span> <span> </span></span>Physics (PHYS 1, 11, 20, 40). There is some flexibility in the schedule of days and times.</p>
<p>· Familiarity with mentoring of student employees</p>
<p>· Coordination skills as this position may act as a liaison between STEM faculty members and the Tutorial Center</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Preferred qualifications:</p>
<p>· Ability to also assist in Mathematics.</p>
<p>· Strong math skills and knowledge of physics (be prepared to state highest level and grades)</p>
<p>· Experience working with a diverse group of people, preferably in an academic setting</p>
<p>· Good communication skills. Bilingual Spanish helpful.</p>
<p>· Organized and dependable with good time management skills</p>
<p>· Comfortable with technology</p>

<p>Pay: $19.75/hr.</p>
