The Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive pharmaceutical services (unit dose, IV admixtures, clinical services, infusion pumps and teaching) throughout the Medical Center complex 24 hours per day.<br>

This position provides a lead role and coordination of activities and student training of the Inpatient Pharmacy Services. The Technician staff fill first doses and batch doses for both IV and UD medications, refills automated dispensing machines, delivers
medications to nursing areas, problem solves medication distribution issues with nursing staff, and performs maintenance and inventory functions.<br>
--Current registration with the California State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.<br>
--Previous hospital pharmacy technician experience or completion of recognized technician program preferred.<br>
--Working knowledge of and skill to apply to practices, principles and techniques of patient care related to area of expertise.<br>
