The Academic Senate and Dean of Instruction are looking for a 40 hr./week STNC Administrative Assistant II, starting immediately.

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:30- 5 PM in the Academic Senate office, located in Bailey Hall.
Pay rate: $21.15/hour per the current AAII hourly salary schedule, step 1.
This is a shared position between Academic Senate (60%) and the Dean of Instruction (40%).

Position requires knowledge of modern office methods and practices including filing, proofreading, formatting, report writing, basic bookkeeping and fiscal management; proper English usage, spelling, vocabulary and grammar; operation of personal computer software programs including word processing and spreadsheet tools, calculators, and other standard office equipment; proper reception and telephone etiquette.  Must also be experienced or comfortable in taking minutes for meetings or transcribing minutes from meetings. Other related duties will include processing travel requests, supervisor of student employee, calendaring of meetings and working with faculty.
