Dear  Colleagues,



You are receiving this email as information on the 8 week, hybrid, Pharmacy 157 IV Inpatient Training course offered this summer. Pharmacy 157 is the IV Inpatient Training Course.

It is a hybrid course with lectures online and face-to-face laboratory.

It is designed for students who are completing the SRJC program AND existing licensed pharmacy technicians and pharmacists who wish to expand their skill set.



Lecture online with 8 face to face labs on Saturdays:
There will be two sections 8:20 AM to 10:30 AM and 10:30 am to 12:40 pm.
Spaced it limited.

After registering for the course, students are to:
1) Go to the section homepage and Print the Skill Kit form, then  go to Accounting in Bailey and pay $15 for a pharmacy technician lab skills kit.  Bring receipt to 1st class meeting.

2) Visit the class homepage via http://online.santarosa.edu.

Catalog Description:
This course is designed to prepare the Pharmacy Technician for employment in an inpatient hospital setting including employment as a fill technician and/or IV compounding technician.

Prerequisites:
Completion of PHARM 151, PHARM 152, PHARM 153, and PHARM 154A.
OR
A licensed pharmacy tech or pharmacist
OR
