On behalf of the Pharmacy Technology Program, we would like to welcome Marta Fijalkowski, Certified Pharmacy Technician, AS Pharmacy Technology SRJC, as a new Clinical Rotation Site Manager.

Marta Fijalkowski, AA, AS, CPhT studied at the Warsaw University in Child Development and Psychology. Upon arrival in the United States, she worked for Komag Material Technology in Santa Rosa. During her time at KMT she completed the Business/Finance program at SRJC and earned her AA degree. In 2002, she started the SRJC Pharmacy Technology Program to graduate with an AS Degree in Pharmacy Technology. She passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board National Exam to earn her Certified Pharmacy Technician status. Marta is licensed by the California State Board of Pharmacy and was the lead pharmacy technician with CVS Pharmacy in Windsor. Marta has utilized her experience and transferable skills to secure a full-time position at Sonoma County Department of Health. There she handles Mental Health Facility Insurance and Medical Billing for the Department of Health. The highlight of her career is the opportunity to be a part of the future of the pharmacy.
