Required for Pharmacy Technician Program : Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in the discipline; OR an Associates degree and six years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in the discipline; or an Associates degree and an accredited Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT), and four years of full-time (or part-time equivalent) experience in the discipline; OR the equivalent; OR a fully satisfied (Life) California Community College Instructors Credential in Health and Physical Care Services and Related Technologies.

Preferred for Pharmacy Technician:

 *   Possession of a current/valid license (preferably Enhanced Level) that is in good standing with issuing licensing board
 *   Experience in and enthusiasm for teaching and/or vocational experience in the area of interest
 *   Degree from a Pharmacy Technician educational program that is in good standing
 *   Recent pharmacy experience and knowledge in current and changing trends
 *   Demonstrated evidence of innovative classroom teaching in both small and large lecture class
 *   Ability to work independently and as part of a team
