What we are looking for:
We are looking for inspiring instructors who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and are committed to helping students achieve their full potential. The candidate will prepare our students with the knowledge, technical skills and work ethic required for successful placement in the competitive and ever-changing medical field.

Overview of responsibilities:

 *   Instruct the assigned course in accordance with current curriculum.
 *   Evaluate current curriculum and program effectiveness and implement enhancements.
 *   Ensure that the quality and quantity of instruction provided in the classroom is consistent with the stated objectives of the school and industry.
 *   Provide quality career technical training that leads to student placement.
 *   Utilize a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate the learning styles of a diverse student enrollment.
 *   Develop and plan classroom activities based on approved syllabus/course outline provided to ensure course content and learning objectives are met.
 *   Maintain a daily record of student attendance and grades in accordance with school policy.
 *   Ensure classroom is well organized and conducive to learning and retention of students.
 *   Assign and grade student assignments for each module.
 *   Coordinate laboratory sessions.
 *   Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standards.
 *   Exchange ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner and contribute meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge.
 *   Identify problems, analyze causes and evaluate appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions.
 *   Possess a high degree of integrity and commitment to comply with policies, regulations and codes of conduct governing all aspects of job responsibilities.
 *   Commitment to the success of the students and the school.
 *   Proactively maintain the skills and certifications required to perform job duties.
 *   Be an inspiring teacher.

Qualifications:

 *   AA or AS degree required, BA preferred.
 *   3 years of experience as Pharmacist or as a Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy that meets ASHP requirements.
 *   California State licensed RPT-RPHT.
 *   Experience teaching for a postsecondary and/or vocational school.
 *   Prior experience implementing institutional or program effectiveness plans is preferred
 *   Experience in programmatic accreditation and regulatory compliance is preferred
 *   Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills required.
 *   Must have effective computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and Power Point to prepare reports and communications.
