Have you ever considered a rewarding career as a pharmacy technician at an ANIMAL hospital? If this sounds interesting, please read on to find out more about the position available at Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos!

We are looking for a dynamic, customer service orientated pharmacy technician to work in our veterinary hospital's pharmacy. Our state of the art hospital has a fully functioning pharmacy that is open 7 days a week for our patients need. You will be working with a team of wonderful pharmacy technicians to dispense medications for both in-patient and out patients. This is a fast-paced position where multi-tasking and attention to detail is a must! A good knowledge of basic human drugs (brand names and generic names) is a minimum requirement and we will train you on animal specific medications. Previous animal pharmacy experience not required, but preferred! Our team values individuals that are dependable, have a passion for their job, and have great initiative. Along with being a licensed pharmacy technician in CA you must have outstanding math skills (including dosage calculations and compounding calculations) and an incredible attention to detail. PTCB certified a plus!

Being comfortable around animals and medical procedures is a must (while delivering medications you may see medical procedures taking place). See employment page for additional physical requirements.
