<p class="MsoNormal">It’s time to apply for the next round of Strong Workforce funding. The application, instructions and PowerPoint from PDA are available on the CTE website:

<p class="MsoNormal">The PowerPoint has several links in it so that you can see the timeline and incentive fund metrics. The application has links to the labor market information which you must include in your proposal.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Applications are due to me by <b><span style="color:#C00000">October 31<sup>st</sup>, 2017</span></b>. The funding technically began on July 1<sup>st</sup> and is available until December of 2019. Applications for the 2018-19 academic year
will be solicited in the spring of 2018 because they are due to the chancellor’s office by June 1<sup>st</sup>. As you can see, the years will start running into each other. If you have a multi-year project, you can submit both applications together if that
is easiest for you. Just make sure your intention is clear (2 separate apps, or at least 2 separate budgets) would work best.

<p class="MsoNormal">Remember the goal of the funding is to produce MORE and BETTER CTE….tell us how your project will do that!<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If you submitted a project in 2016-17 that was not funded and you want to resubmit, you can. If you have questions about why it was not funded, we can discuss what changes might make it a stronger proposal. It’s possible that the funds
just ran out. We did receive applications for more funds than were available. <o:p>
