[ITT-staff] Lounibos return to Campus Fall 2021

To all in ITT,

Here is a collection of information I have been gathering all week.  I am sure I have missed something and there will be other questions.  Please ask them.

As of right now, we will have to be flexible and will see additional information(from the district?) this next week as the processes are implemented.

The main issues currently are:

  *   All of our labs are considered "inside" even with roll doors opened.
  *   Everyone has to wear masks indoors.
  *   Students are to do a daily check in at every building they enter, and staff are to have log(?)
     *   This is to be completed by temp hired safety monitors at a booth outside Lounibos, not the instructors.
     *   They will get a check in sticker each day (?)
  *   Physical spacing is not required, but recommended.
  *   There is discussion (?) of a soft mandate to require staff and faculty to be vaccinated to be on campus.  (more details to follow, as this was mentioned multiple times during PDA)
  *   We are going to keep our class sizes at 12, unless there is a strong reason to add more. Please contact either myself or Benjamin to discuss.
     *   The waitlist order has to be used to replace students that either do not show, or drop in the first week.
     *   Please save the waitlist order before dropping students.
  *   The waitlists will have to be dropped after the first week or those students will be automatically added to the course, and have access to Canvas.

The two classrooms are almost complete, and as of Friday we are waiting for Media/IT to connect the monitors.  Not sure if the chairs have been put back in by contractors / facilities.  Monday classes might have to get creative or use other spaces (Diesel lab, Auto amphitheater, walking shop tour?)

If you need a computer for display, we will need to roll a display from the Auto/Diesel shop down then until Media completes the installation.

The shops are going to be under construction for HVAC install in Auto and Machine Tool, and still waiting on lifts in Auto.  I will get a better update this next week.

As for Tera's schedule, Classified staff are mostly still working remote, unless needed on campus (with union approval), so please call or email for support.  She will typically be working 8-12 M-F for ITT.
