Hello All!



I have dates for District Forklift training for all Santa Rosa and Petaluma drivers. This training will satisfy requirements for new driver forklift certification and will provide recertification/refresher training to all existing forklift drivers. With staffing changes, COVID and the fires I need to shake up our standard training protocols and am scheduling the refresher/new driver classroom work together by Zoom. After the Zoom class there will be a follow-up driver evaluation appointment for all staff. Everyone should attend one Zoom presentation class, and all are required to have a follow-up driving evaluation. Existing drivers will be recertified, and all new drivers for the District will receive their new certification.



To accommodate the completion of driving evaluations before the end of October, I am scheduling the Zoom class presentation for next Tuesday, 10/20/20. While I am offering a morning and afternoon session, I have taken the liberty of scheduling your Zoom class appointment time to even out the classes. I have also scheduled appointment times for everyone for your driver evaluations. The driver evaluations appointments are scheduled for Friday, October 28 and 29. Please review the schedule (see attached) and note the dates and times for both your Zoom class, and your driver evaluation appointment time.  All driver evaluations this year for both Santa Rosa and Petaluma drivers will be held at the Santa Rosa campus facilities yard (see attached).



I recognize the planned training schedule may pose a challenge for some, but I would like everyone to attend as assigned if possible. If you cannot attend as scheduled, please let me know and I will try to find an alternative for you. Please block both the Zoom meeting and driver evaluation appointment times in your calendars. I will forward the link for the Zoom presentation for you before the end of the week.
