Hello,
This message is to inform you of an important update to the learning content of the Vision Resource Center. LinkedIn Learning acquired Lynda and has since offered the Lynda content under their name with the rest of their catalog. On Friday, May 29, 2020, the LinkedIn Learning catalog in the Vision Resource Center will be updated to reflect this change and sync the two catalogs completely. You will no longer see “Lynda” listed as a provider, but the same topics will be available from LinkedIn Learning.

What Does This Change Mean for You?

1) Complete Any “In Progress” Lynda Modules
If you have “in progress” LinkedIn/Lynda modules saved in your transcript, those modules will become “Inactive” on May 29, and you will lose that progress. If you don’t want to lose progress you’ve made then you should complete any “in progress” LinkedIn/Lynda modules before May 29.

2) Transcript - Previously Completed Lynda Modules
Any completed LinkedIn/Lynda modules will remain in your transcript. The status for those completed modules, however, will become “Inactive” instead of “Completed”. If you want to access that learning again you can search for the topic from Learner Home.

3) Update Playlists
If you have created learning playlists that include any LinkedIn/Lynda modules you should plan to update them after May 29. All LinkedIn/Lynda modules will need to be replaced.
