This is a friendly reminder regarding the audiometric exams on Wednesday, March 25th

Hello -

The annual Audiometric Hearing Exams portion of the Employee Health Surveillance Program has been scheduled.

A Center for Hearing Health professional will be on campus on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Please contact me if you need to change the time of your appointment at 524-1654 or via email at tchase at santarosa.edu<mailto:tchase at santarosa.edu>. The yellow highlighted sections on the schedule are open time slots if you need to change your appointment time.

Who Should Have Their Hearing Checked?

All employees who are regularly exposed to high levels of noise should be included in the District's Health Surveillance Program. Full-time regular faculty and staff, Adjunct Faculty, STNCs and student employees are covered by the Cal/OSHA Hearing Protection Program requirements.

When Will Employees Have Their Hearing Checked?

Please see attached schedule of employee appointment times for audiometric exams. Please contact me if there have been personnel changes since last year or if an employee can't attend at the scheduled time.

If employee cannot attend the hearing exams on this date, the employee(s) will need to schedule an audiometric exam with Kaiser Occupational Health and Safety.  I will follow up with employees after the hearing exams with Center for Hearing Health has been completed.

Where Will The Exams Be Conducted?

The audiometric tests will take place in a mobile van conversion (converted motor home) that will be parked inside the Facilities Operations Maintenance Compound, in front of Building 34, on the Santa Rosa Campus, just off Scholars Drive.
