Good Afternoon BPS Cluster,

I wanted to check in with you all.  I have had limited internet until know, but have been able to read all the e-mails coming in.  I hope everyone is safe and that your homes have survived.  Unfortunately, we have some colleagues within our departments and SRJC that have lost their homes to this devastating fire.  If you have been evacuated and/or have lost your home, please e-mail me and Susan Muskar in HR (smuskar at santarosa.edu<mailto:smuskar at santarosa.edu>).  In the coming weeks, we will be concentrating on how to support you and our displaced students.  If you need ANYTHING, let me know.

There have been many e-mails coming out from SRJC to you and our students.  The only thing I can add is to please keep in touch with your students and pass on the student information and resources.  There will be more specific information coming out today and early next week answering many technical questions due to the closure.  I will forward all information to these listservs.  Lastly, don’t hesitate to send any and all comments, concerns, suggestions, and questions to me.  I may not have an answer today, but I am meeting with the other deans and MK on Monday.

My heart goes out to all of you.  I am proud to be part of the SRJC family and that while many challenges will face us in the days ahead, we will get through this together.
