NextGen Trades Academy


The NextGen Trades Academy, a program of the LIME Foundation, is for students who may not have the opportunity to go to college. They train and help students find gainful employment in the trades fields and provide a workforce for local contractors.

CGHS developed "career pathways" related to health care, culinary arts, digital media and environmental science. Students who sign up for one of the pathways have opportunities to do job internships in the community, and take high school classes to familiarize them with the requirements to specialize in one of those fields.
