Greetings Faculty and Staff Colleagues!
 I trust the beginning of the semester finds your classes off to a good start.
 I am emailing you hoping that you could share with your working students an opportunity to earn units this semester.  Right now Work Experience classes are still open and accepting students.
Your students can earn credit for working in their existing job and work with a Work Experience instructor to help set goals and objectives to learn new skills and abilities.  As a former Work Experience student back in the day, I can attest to how valuable the experience was!
For further information, I encourage you to visit our website at workexperience.santarosa.edu.  I would also like to extend an invitation to each of you to have a work experience staff member come talk with your class about Internships, Community Involvement (Volunteer Experience), and General Work Experience as a valuable option for student career development and educational planning-this would only take 5-10 minutes of your classroom time.  If you are interested, please reach out to our administrative assistant, Jamie Longnecker at jlongnecker at santarosa.edu<mailto:jlongnecker at santarosa.edu> or call her at x4972 and we will coordinate with our staff to have one of us come to your class.
