Good morning,

With the start of the semester, we will start doing AAC Weekly Updates again. Please see some helpful tips below.


*         These should be WOW items that the board and entire college would want to know.

*         Quality over quantity.

*         If you went to a conference, explain how that will benefit the college/students/department.

*         If you hosted an event, highlight top moments, number and type of ppl in attendance, how it benefits the college/students/department, etc.

*         If you're talking about an impressive number of students in a program, provide data such as % increase from last year to prove your point.

*         Include links to articles/publications you reference and to events you are advertising.

*         Images are always welcome.

*         Please send complete sentences, edited and ready to go.

*         These go out on Monday, so please use past tense if you are referring to something that happened before this goes out.

*         Please include "Weekly Update" in your email subject line. This will help me sort and ensure I don't miss any.


Please share these tips with your department and departmental AA's, reminding them to send their updates to you by x date, so you can compile and send me one update from your cluster by 12pm every Thursday.
