Good Afternoon All,

Since there was a request during our CTE Leadership Team Retreat, I'm following up with timelines for our grants. The timelines for Perkins (CTEA) funding are usually included in the Academic Affairs Calendar that is put out by Whitney Schultz. I've broken those dates out for your information.

Perkins (CTEA) 2017-2018 - currently on hold for spending until we hear from the Chancellor's Office. We are a month overdue on the ability to spend on our projects. Once we hear that we can spend our funds I will be emailing everyone that had a project approved, along with their Department Chair/Supervising Administrator.


·         Any CTEA funds not spent or encumbered will be swept -  January 26, 2018

·         Friday, April 30th - All final CTEA funding for 2017-2018 must be completed. This includes any payroll.

Perkins (CTEA)2018-2019:

·         Monday, February 26, 2018 - Release of Request for Proposals Grant Applications

·         Friday, March 26, 2018 no later than 5:00pm - Grant Applications are due to Senior Dean, CTE and Alicia Artz

·         Input of CTEA online application May, 2018 for 2018-2019 funding

·         2018-2019 spending is allowed as of July 1, 2018, unless otherwise noted

Strong Workforce Program (SWP) Grant:

Instructions and Project Application are now up on: https://cte.santarosa.edu/strong-workforce-program


·         2017-2018 - District's application due to the Chancellor's Office June 1, 2018

·         Project Application(s) should be reviewed and approved by your Supervising Administrator and submitted electronically to Tina Dodson and Alicia Artz no later than 5:00pm on October 31, 2017. We will be submitting our 2017-2018 application by December 1, 2017 to the Chancellor's Office

·         The application for 2018-2019 is also due to the Chancellor's Office June 1, 2018 - we will look at 2018-2019 after December 1, 2017
