Dear CTE Champions!

We are four (4) weeks away from Celebrate CTE! Let's get 500, that's only 386 more students to RSVP!! We can get there and we need YOU to help!!!

As of today, April 24, 2017, we have 114 confirmed students, from 7 programs, RSVPs to the second annual Celebrate CTE!  Friday, May 26th from 5:00-7:00pm on the Santa Rosa Campus under the oaks, which is happening the night before the graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 27th.  The students that have responded are excited about being recognized for their accomplishments. Our standout program is Dental Assisting/Hygiene with 44 students!!

As you know by now, this event is to honor and celebrate our students and CTE certificate and degree completers. The Board of Trustees and Dr. Chong will be attending and we have internationally-known motivational speaker, Josh Sundquist.  Josh is a cancer survivor, a Paralympic Athlete, Bestselling Author, and YouTube personality. Josh has been featured on CNN, USA Today, and NRP. We are lucky to have him come here to address us at our second Celebrate CTE event!!

I need your help having your students do two important things to participate - only two important steps. Here is the link to Celebrate CTE! https://cte.santarosa.edu/celebrate-cte . Please share this link with your students in their student portals and encourage them to attend so that we can celebrate their successes.


1.       Apply for their certificate

2.       Reserve their spot for the celebration at celebratecte at gmail.com<mailto:celebratecte at gmail.com>. Have your student(s) indicate that they plan to attend and what certificates they will be awarded

3.    Student names will appear in the program based on how they have applied for their certificate. They need to apply by May 5th in order to have their name appear in the program. If they miss that deadline they are still able to attend, but their names will not appear in the program.

Please- Help me make this a successful second event and get the word out!!!
