Subject: Spring Textbook Requisitions

Greetings Faculty,

The Bookstore is now ready to start taking your Textbook adoptions for the Spring semester.  We need your order to be submitted no later than October 31, 2016.

There are two ways to place orders:
1.   Blank Form (attached) - write in pertinent information OR, if you are teaching the same exact course and want to order the same exact books, just write "Same as...Fall 2016." Either submit form in person or through interoffice mail.
2.    Email Order - provide the same information requested on the blank form (ie course, section #, author/title/ISBN #, required/optional).  For courses offered on the Santa Rosa campus or online, email Drina Ochoa, aochoa at santarosa.edu<mailto:aochoa at santarosa.edu> or Dan Klempner dklempner at santarosa.edu<mailto:dklempner at santarosa.edu> .  For courses offered on the Petaluma campus, email Dennis O'Flaherty, doflaherty at santarosa.edu<mailto:doflaherty at santarosa.edu>.

In order for us to maintain our HEOA compliance we must receive your Textbook Adoption no later than the October 31st deadline. If you feel that you may have difficulties meeting that deadline, please contact us sooner rather than later so that we may assist you.
The SRJC Campus Bookstore will be transitioning to a new outsourced contractor sometime in March 2017. We will be continuing to serve our student population through Spring Rush. We do not have an exact transition date. During this time of transition, some procedures/processes may have to change simply to accommodate our dissolution, such as:

*         We will not be renting any textbooks.

*         We will continue to do limited buybacks through Spring Rush.

*         Our ordering ability will be limited.

*         At this time, we may not be able to order for late start classes.


Please let us know if you expect your students will be purchasing their books online or elsewhere so we can minimize our orders.

We greatly appreciate your partnership so that we can meet our deadlines to serve our student population.
