Included is our monthly analysis of real-time online job postings, aggregated from over 25,000 sources, as well as a bonus feature of hiring trends in the Manufacturing industry.  ***SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT***

The EDB is currently transitioning to a new primary data source used to generate the monthly Job Market Tracker reports. During this transition, we will be suspending the release of the monthly Job Market Tracker reports until February 2017.  However, during this transition period, customized job market requests will be accepted! Please reach out with any specific requests and we will assist you on an individual basis.

SEPTEMBER 2016 HIGHLIGHTS

·           Over 9,900 job postings were advertised in September 2016, an increase of 1,637 postings compared to the same period last year.

·           With 921 postings, the Retail Trade industry had the most job postings in the September reporting period.

·           Santa Rosa had 199 more job postings than reported a year ago and continues to have the most job postings of any Sonoma County city with 4,500 in September 2016.
