[ITT-staff] Industrial & Trade Technology ASE ballot results

Hello Industrial & Trade Technology Faculty,
On August 27, 2015 at the ITT Department meeting, a vote was held on making instructor ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification mandatory "special expertise" in the areas taught by an automotive instructor. This requirement is part of the NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) accreditation requirements. Ballots were passed out and collected and the results were:  9 Yea and 1 Nay.  The change has been passed, and will become part of the Trade Technology Hourly Assignment Departmental Procedures.  Please see the attached proposal for details of what changes have been made to the program procedures.
