Dear Colleagues,

Your input is again needed on the latest work of the Task Force on Workforce, Job Creation and a Strong Economy (Workforce Taskforce). This time we have recommendations on Curriculum and Instructors as well as Structured Career Pathways and Student Support for your review and feedback.

The recommendations (attached) were drafted at the May 13 task force meeting and revised by a small writing group consisting of task force members. They will be reviewed by the task force on June 11. The document is considered a "rolling draft" since the recommendations may undergo further revision, as the work of the task force is a process, with additional information, interests, and conditions taken into consideration at subsequent meetings.

Please review the recommendations on Curriculum, Instructors, Structured Career Pathways, and Student Support and provide critique, comments, and suggestions by email to CTETaskForceComments<mailto:CTETaskForceComments at asccc.org>@<mailto:CTETaskForceComments at asccc.org>asccc.org<mailto:CTETaskForceComments at asccc.org>. Your thoughtful feedback will help guide our work on the task force as the deliberation continues on these critical issues.

As you know, the task force is meeting monthly from January until July to accomplish the work necessary as tasked by the Board of Governors. The next set of recommendation on Funding and Regional Coordination will be developed at the June 11 meeting. Recommendations on all the topics will be finalized and approved by the task force at the final meeting on July 29 before going to the Board of Governors.
