Hi Josh and Jerry,

I hope both of you are doing well!

KC asked me to forward both of you the Education Advisory Board's "Manufacturing" and "Social Media and Mobile Applications"  volumes which is part of their Industry Future series for Community Colleges.  The series combines an "analysis of employer demand signals with an examination of the social and technological disruptions shaping the next decade's workforce".

The Manufacturing series explores how to incorporate emerging design technologies into manufacturing programs to engage a new generation of students.  The report contains the Evolution of U.S. Manufacturing, Design-Driven Programs in Manufacturing and Assessing the Opportunity to offer these programs at a Community College.

The Social Media and Mobile Applications series explores how to design certificates in social media and mobile applications that appeal to post-baccalaureate career starters in need of technical skills.  The report contains the Post-Baccalaureate Opportunity, Emerging Programs in Social Media and Mobile Applications and Assessing the Opportunity to offer these programs at a Community College.
