Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to remind everyone that there is a department meeting today at 12:00pm in the Lounibos Hall. I have attached the subway sandwich order form and will take orders until 11:15 today.

To: All I&TT (Industrial & Trade Technology)

The Industrial & Trade Technology Department will hold a department meeting on August 27, 2015, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.  The meeting will be held in the Lounibos Center faculty/staff lobby area, and all full-time and adjunct faculty are invited, and encouraged to attend.
At the meeting we discuss various issues of importance, including:


*        Spring Schedule proof 1


*        Enhanced CTE Funds


*        Plan for increasing completers = faculty educating the student

*         Making instructor ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification mandatory "special expertise" in the areas taught by the instructor.  This requirement is a part of the NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) accreditation requirements.  As most of you know, SRJC has been pursuing NATEF accreditation for several years now.  To install this special expertise officially, a vote must be taken at a department or program meeting, and the majority (of faculty present at the meeting) will carry the vote.  So, please attend if you are interested in outcome.  I have attached the pertinent excerpt from the SRJC Policy
