[HuiPulamaMau] Planetarium

Sorry.

RNCEE - Randolph Newman Cultural Enrichment Endowment Grant. This is the grant we got funds for to put on the Aloha Festival in the May 2014.

DUTO-Day Under the Oaks sometimes shortened to DUO, but that has always seemed a little unclear to me.

Was there anything else?

Can I ask that we dispense with the acronyms?

I find myself wondering what they are and having to take too long to read through and e-mail.

Sorry, but I'm not that familiar with them all as maybe you all are.

Thank you, my apologies,

Violet

Aloha,

Yes, a Planetarium show was in the RNCEE grant application. It would be beyond amazing to have the program play all summer!

I like your idea of formally opening the show with a prayer ceremony, etc. Will the show be playing on DUTO? It might be good to schedule it on DUTO as one of the activities that the public could attend. Maybe Ed would be willing to rethink the schedule if this was part of it?

A matinee and evening show would be fine on May 3. Families and others might like that option.

I'm excited. I hope to see this show.

Jo

Hi again,

One more thing, May 3rd is the day that Ed can fit the show into the week of events.
After, this show can continue to play in the planetarium - all summer if we like!!!

Was a planetarium show in your original application? Please let me know.
mahalo,

lynda

Mahalo Lynda! Saturday May 3rd is when we have the Lūʻau planned. If we have enough resources, I think we can pull it off.

Let's talk about it more, but I do believe a visit to the planetarium is in order to conceptualize the possibilities.

I'm excited too!
