STNC (Short-term, non-continuing employment opportunity)
The Foster and Kinship Care Education program at Santa Rosa Junior College is looking for a part-time (10-15 hours per week) Administrative and Events Assistant. The job requires interfacing with public agencies; planning, producing and attending meetings, trainings and conferences related to foster parenting and foster youth, including coordinating caterers, volunteers and the development of time-sensitive literature (flyers, brochures, etc.). This position requires the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and work with student workers as well as agency representatives. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing projects, being organized and punctual. It is preferred that the candidate have a background in foster parenting, adoption, kinship, trauma, grief and loss, or related experiences or an interest in the field.
Candidate must have their own transportation, current DMV printout and proof of insurance as many of the meetings are around the county of Sonoma.
Compensation: $22.92 per hour.
