At the 2014 Larry Bertolini Day Under The Oaks, children will be introduced to the excitement of higher education, adults can learn about new and compelling career paths, and all can explore the college's many academic, cultural and student life offerings.
The open house and community education fair extends throughout the Santa Rosa Campus and features a Petaluma Campus Discovery Area on the Mendocino lawn. More than 140 booths will offer food, hands-on activities, displays, demonstrations, shows and fun for the whole family.
Highlights include:

 *   Exhibits and demonstrations from instructional departments
 *   New! Delicious offerings from Food Trucks (benefitting student clubs and departments) & student clubs
 *   Wide variety of beautiful arts and crafts
 *   Traditional Native American dancers
 *   Magic Shows at the Chemistry Lab
 *   Explore the human brain in the Biology Department
 *   Planetarium shows
 *   Shone Farm Petting Zoo
 *   Environmental Horticulture Plant Sale (decorative and vegetable starts for your garden)
 *   Jazz and contemporary music presentations
 *   SRJC Alumni activities
 *   And much, much more
