[Cwstudents] EOPS Spring Applications

SRJC's Extended Opportunities, Programs & Services -EOPS- is now accepting applications for Spring 2014.

Interested students must meet ALL of the following eligibility criteria:

 *   Must be considered a California resident
 *   Must be approved for BOGW for 2013-14 academic year
 *   Must be considered a FULL TIME* student, enrolled in 12 units for Spring 14 PRIOR to filing application
 *   Have LESS than 70 degree applicable units
 *   EDUCATIONAL FACTOR: Must meet ONE of the following 5 criteria -
    *   Assessment: place below ENG 100 or MATH 150A; or
    *   No GED, no high school diploma or has not passed a HS Proficiency exam; or
    *   High school transcript shows a 2.49gpa or lower; or
    *   A transcript showing the student was enrolled in remedial education; or
    *   Meets other disadvantage factors determined by State Chancellor's Office, i.e. first in the family to attend college, etc.
*or total units enrolled are determined as "full-time equivalent" with the appropriate Authorization Form completed, i.e. DRD, Foster Youth, etc.  Please contact EOPS or come to the front desk if you have questions, ext. 4830.
