<b>Position Summary:</b> Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or his/her designee, the Alcohol and Drug Counselor provides direct assessment, treatment, prevention and necessary collateral services to assigned youth and their families.

4. Serves adolescents, as assigned, at the clinic and as needed at designated sites in the area.<br>
5. Works collaboratively with other Aldea staff, including those providing psychiatric/medical, administrative and other ancillary services.<br>

Drug and Alcohol Intervention Specialist (Novato)<br>
North Bay Security Group works with the Novato Unified School District to ensure the academic success for all students K-12. NBSG works closely with all school administrators, counselors and student services to support all students and their families. One of
our missions is to offer immediate intervention to those students that are identified as using drugs and/ or alcohol, who are feeling pressure to do so, or who "Self report" they are using or had recently used. Groups may be held at the three high school and
three middle schools. Each student meets with our Drug and Alcohol Intervention Specialist, goes through an assessment process and is evaluated for individual counseling, other support services or attends a weekly Group Session, focused on harm reduction.
