Distance Learning Specialist Internship

 Job Description

 CalSERVES provides specialized small group tutoring, implements after school programs, builds volunteer capacity in underserved communities, and develops future leaders.

 The Napa County Office of Education is seeking a part-time intern to support its training and online workshop program activities related to the development of our volunteer program. 

 Interns are expected to have experience with Microsoft PowerPoint on an intermediate to advanced level. You should be able to think strategically and see how webinar development, when implemented correctly, creates a fully interactive training experience for its participants. As an intern you will be expected to assist with the pre/post design logistics including registration and post event evaluations. You will also be responsible for creating a standardized design format for future webinar presentations. 

 CalSERVES is offering you the perfect opportunity to put your skills as a media design expert to good use. 

 Time Commitment: 7-10 hours per week for 6 months (flexible scheduling)

 ** This is an UNPAID internship opportunity**

 Responsibilities
 1. Help in the development and implementation of online webinars for the upcoming year
 2. Develop design formats for presentations
 a. Including PowerPoint Presentations and other forms of multimedia
 3. Design content pieces, PowerPoint presentations, and handouts to make webinars fully interactive
 4. Assist with pre/post design logistics including registration and event evaluations
 5. Research and propose suggestions for future webinars

 Requirements
 1. Must have strong computer skills
 2. Ability to work on multiple projects from different supervisors
 3. Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
 4. Able to clearly and effectively demonstrate ideas through multiple forms of multimedia
 5. Ability to exhibit creative and innovative thinking
 6. Ability to work collaboratively
