Substance Abuse Counselor
Counselors: Non-profit social service agency seeks certified and experienced substance abuse counselors to conduct screening and assessments; provide individual and group counseling; develop treatment plans; create and maintain client charts in compliance with regulatory agencies and funder; facilitate relapse prevention and continuing care services; and provide follow-up and aftercare counseling and case management in residential and out-patient settings.

Prior experience working with criminal justice clients in a substance abuse treatment program is required.

Positions are currently available in Marin County. The requirements for the position include, but are not limited to the following:

Substance Abuse Counseling Certification from a State of California Accredited Institution;
Demonstrated experience providing substance abuse treatment services with criminal justice populations (state parole and probation) is required;
